Editing a Content Block

  1. Find the content you want to change
    1. Scroll through your Copy Package and locate the block you'd like to update—this could be a social post, email, text message, or more.

  1. Click “Edit”
    1. Just below the block, click the Edit button.

  1. Make your changes
    1. A text box will open. From here, you can:

      • Edit event details
      • Add names, links, or custom language
      • Make tweaks that will dial in your voice
  1. Click “Save”
    1. Once you’re happy with your edits, click Save. Your changes will instantly replace the previous version and be reflected everytime you access that block.

Pro Tips

  • Want a backup?
    • If you’d like to save the original version before editing, click Copy first and paste it somewhere safe—like a doc or note.

  • Edits are final unless copied elsewhere
    • Once saved, your custom edits become the active version. If you later regenerate that block, your edits will be replaced unless you’ve saved a backup elsewhere.

Why Edit?

Editing is great when you want to:

  • Add your church’s specific service/event times or locations
  • Customize wording for a local audience
  • Shorten or expand a block based on platform needs
  • Make a message sound more “you”

Your Copy Package gives you the structure. Editing helps you make it personal.
